  • 2 ripe avocados

  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • Juice of ½ a lemon or lime

  • ½ tsp ground turmeric (optional, anti-inflammatory boost)

  • Pinch of sea salt & black pepper

Seasonal September Additions:

  • 1 small leek, sautéed until soft

  • 1 handful rocket or spinach, chopped

  • ½ kiwifruit, diced (yes, it works beautifully with avocado)

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley or mint, chopped

Method

  1. Scoop avocado into a bowl and mash gently.

  2. Mix in olive oil, lemon juice, turmeric, salt & pepper.

  3. Fold through leek, greens, kiwifruit, and herbs.

  4. Serve on toasted wholegrain bread, crackers, or as a topping for grilled fish.

Toasted walnuts 
Sprinkle of hemp seeds
